Thanks to a generous gift from our friends at Truist, this years CSO's will be known as The Monroe Scholars in honor of our late CEO and Founder David Monroe.

David's spirit of innovation and love for all things STEM will serve as inspiration for this cohort to advocate in their communities.

IN SAN ANTONIO

In partnership with SciTech Institute SAMSAT is proud to bring the CSO program back to the San Antonio area. 50 San Antonio area students will be selected to serve as STEM ambassadors for their communities.

CSO's will...

  • Advocate for communication, interest, and engagement in STEM

  • Streamline community connection to STEM industry

  • Connect peers to STEM industry

  • Offer hands on experiences to build critical workforce skills

Eligibility

6th-12th Graders from the following:

  • San Antonio ISD

  • South San Antonio ISD

  • Harlandale ISD

  • Edgewood ISD

  • Compass Rose Ingenuity Campus

  • Sul Ross Middle School

  • John Jay High School
