Working with our lead partners, the Office of Mayor Ron Nirenberg, and Communities In Schools of San Antonio, SAMSAT is preparing for the first major event of SA Smart 2022, our Competition Clinic. Entering its fifth year, SA Smart adopts a theme from the SA Tomorrow Comprehensive Plan and challenges students to address a local challenge, including conducting technical and market research and preparing a pitch deck. The program has served 750 students and has addressed challenges in transportation, sustainability, digital inclusion and food insecurity.
In 2022, with lead sponsorship from the San Antonio Water System, we will challenge students to address water resources in San Antonio.
