SA Smart Announces 2021 Challenge Topic
Calling all 7-12 graders! Do you like to solve problems facing our community and love STEM? This is for you!
Last year hundreds of thousands of San Antonio citizens faced unprecedented challenges amid shutdowns and layoffs due to the COVID-19 outbreak. More than 120,000 residents turned to SA Food Bank for help. Many people don’t know that before the pandemic the Food Bank was serving 60,000, meaning food insecurity was a challenge to the San Antonio area long before the pandemic.
This year’s SA Smart Challenge’s will address the challenge: How can San Antonio drastically reduce food insecurity among residents?
