Who is WEX?

​

WEX is a foundation working in STEM education and human space exploration.  Their goals revolve around community engagement and space exploration through STEM related fields. 


They do this by targeting students between elementary to high school levels in assisting in creating curriculum, hosting camps, and fostering educational projects.  They also strive to include underrepresented and underserved communities in San Antonio. 

They have a $2 million grant with NASA to research the making of moon bricks and habitats.  They also run a Lunar Caves Analog Test Site, LCATS,
